We encourage all students and staff to travel sustainably and safely. Below is a guide to help you plan your journey to Bristol Brunel Academy.
By Bus
Several bus routes serve the area around the Academy:
Plan your journey using:
- Bus 6 & 7: Direct services from Bristol City Centre to Whiteway Road, a short walk from the Academy.
- Bus 42, 43, 44, 45: These routes operate in East Bristol and may require a short walk or transfer depending on your starting point.

By Train
Nearby train stations include:
- Lawrence Hill Station – approx. 30-minute walk
- Stapleton Road Station – approx. 30-minute walk
These stations may be suitable when combined with a bus or cycling leg of your journey.
By Bike or On Foot
- The Bristol to Bath Cycle Path runs close to the Academy.
- Secure bike sheds are available on site.
- Staff showers are available for staff members cycling or walking longer distances.
By Car
- We encourage families to avoid driving where possible. If driving is necessary:
- Please use designated drop-off areas.
- Be mindful of local residents and avoid blocking driveways or parking illegally.
