Dear Parent/Carer,

Year 11 Parents’ Evening – Thursday 28^th March 3.30pm -7.00pm

We would like to invite you to Year 11 Parents’ Evening on Thursday 28^th March between 3.30pm and 7.00pm.

This is an important evening which provides you with the opportunity to speak with your child’s subject teachers and discuss their progress in Year 11 so far. Students will also be receiving their mock exam results in an envelope on the evening.

Some subjects will be selling revision guides on the evening. These are also available to purchase on ParentPay.

Mr Jordan, our Careers and Employability Coach, will also be available to speak to on the evening.

The appointment booking system will go live today, Thursday 14^th March, at 12pm.

All appointments need to be made through the MCAS (MyChildAtSchool) app. Please download the app if you have not already done so. A short guide on how to use the booking system is attached.

If you do not have access to the internet or would like further support, please do not hesitate to contact Reception on 0117 3772700 or the Year 11 team on 07599 101208.

A reminder that Year 11 prom is taking place on Thursday 4^th July. Deposit payments are available to pay on ParentPay until the end of April. Alternatively, you can pay by cash or card at Reception.

Parents’ Guide for Booking Appointments

Browse https://www.mychildatschool.com/MCAS/MCSParentLogin or download the MCAS app

		Step 1: Login Please download the MCAS (MyChildAtSchool) app and ensure you have turned on your notifications in your phone settings. You will then get an alert when the booking system goes live.
		Step 2: Select Parents’ Evening Using the main menu (the three lines on the top left side) please select the Parents’ Evening menu and then the evening you wish to book for.
**		Step 3: Make Appointments If you select the ‘quick book’ option, you will be asked to enter your arrival time and the system will then automatically generate your appointments. You can also choose to select your appointments manually instead of quick book. This is done by clicking on the name of the teacher(s) you want to see, and you can then select the available appointment time(s) you would like.
	Step 4: Confirm Appointments If you used the quick book option, the most appropriate appointments will then be suggested to you. You then confirm by clicking ‘book appointments’. If you booked your appointment(s) manually, once you have selected them all, you can confirm them also.
	Step 5: Finished/Viewing/Editing Appointments Once you have booked your appointments, they are all available to view in the Parents’ Evening menu. You can edit your appointments from here.
