Dear Parent/Carer

Learning Support Evening, Thursday 8th December 4.00pm – 7.00pm

I would like to invite you to book your appointment with your child’s Key Worker for our Learning
Support Evening on Thursday 8th December. This evening is being held in person, onsite at the
Academy.

This is a really important evening which provides you with the opportunity to discuss with the Key
Worker the support your child is receiving at Bristol Brunel Academy, ask any questions about your
child’s support and progress, discuss how best you can support your child and contribute to the review
of the Student Profile and their learning outcomes which all teachers access.

Louise Coles, Assistant Principal for Learning Support and Key Stage 4 SENDCo along with Nathan
Rutter, SENDCo Key Stage 3, will be available onsite during the evening if you have any further
questions you would like to discuss.

The appointment booking system will go live at 12pm on Friday 25th November and closes at 12pm on
Thursday 8th December.

We are also holding the Year 11 Parents Evening on the same evening, so if your child is in Year 11,
please be mindful when booking your appointment time that this doesn’t clash with the times of your
teacher appointments.
We use an easy to use online appointment booking system. This allows you to choose your own
appointment time with your child’s key worker and you will receive an email confirming the
appointment.

If you do not have access to the internet or would like further support for the evening, please contact
the SEN team or the Academy reception on 0117 377 2700, who will be able to assist with booking
your appointment.
